A Meghalaya tour was on my mind since a long time and TRIS Travels helped me to fulfil this wish. This was my first travel to the Northeast, and we had a safe and very comfortable trip. Thanks to Ms. Rose who went out of her way to accommodate our needs and ensure that we have the best travel experience during our short trip. She suggested the right places for us and provided a guide as required. What I liked most is her prompt communication throughout the planning stage and travel. 

I also want to give a shout out to Lambha Lyngdoh who is a skilled driver and a very helpful guy. It was nice interacting with him and learning about the Khasi culture. The community there serves with their heart. I would like to plan another trip with TRIS in the future.

I had such a wonderful time in Meghalaya because of TRIS travels. I was traveling solo and in the north east for the very first time, and Ms. Rose made sure that I felt safe and comfortable throughout.

I had a very short time and wanted to trek mostly. Ms. Rose gave the best recommendations and even an offbeat trekking route to the double decker root bridge, which I thoroughly enjoyed, despite being fairly challenging. She assigned the best guides on both the treks- Ivan and Penar- they were super kind and patient and made sure I enjoyed while being safe. Even the driver David was very lively and made sure I was safe all along. Through the trip, I also got to enjoy local culture and cuisine in a very grounded way and I could experience Meghalaya the way it is meant to be.

Since I was traveling solo she also helped me pick good and safe homestays that were within my budget and accommodated my last minute requests.

She checked up on me every morning and evening to make sure everything was in order and was super caring. It means a lot when you’re traveling alone as a woman in a new place and you can trust the people you’re traveling with.

I couldn’t be grateful enough to have had such a sweet first solo trip and hopefully I will be back soon to see more! More wonderful offbeat hikes and scenes to be enjoyed!

Travelling to Meghalaya was a dream and Rose ensured that dream was made real. Right from a smooth airport pick-up to giving us homestays in gorgeous locations to accommodating every small request I made; she did it all so well. David, our driver was such a fun and helpful companion in this journey too. Overall, I am very pleased and would gladly recommend TRIS to friends and family.

Rose was extremely helpful in planning this trip. It was our first travel to the North East and we had lots of questions about places to see, hotels, etc. Rose patiently explained and helped in planning the trip to near perfection. She even assisted in customising the trip as per our request, while keeping in mind that we were traveling with a senior citizen.

We also had a great driver, Jayanta, who showed us around and ensured we had a truly memorable time minus any worries. Jayanta was polite, tidy, experienced and knew the local places well.

Above everything else, Rose and Jayanta are really nice and warm people. It was a pleasure meeting them and interacting with them.

It was a great experience to visit Meghalaya, all thanks to Mrs Rose for her hard work. Its because of Rose we enjoyed the place very much. We troubled her to change the hotel and cab service last moment but she manged all, we changed our paln 3 to 4 times, she helped us every time.

We were a group of 5 people(me , my wife, my parents and my 3 years old daughter).
We planned trip for 7 days and 7 nights in meghalaya including Guwahati for 1 day.
We didnt want our trip to be very hectic and busy, Mrs Rose took care of that. We want to enjoy local food(veg only) and home stay(although we cancel that after reaching there, house was more than 100 yrs old and it was heritage home. But parents were not comfortable there).

It was nice to talk with our tour guides.

Our cab driver Mr. Swapnodeep, was very nice guy. Having good knowledge of routes, didnt use Google map even a single time. My daughter loved playing with him.

Mrs Rose and Mr Swapnodeep suggested very good restaurant based on our requirements.

And at last, Meghalaya is such a good, clean and beautiful place, full of good and simple people we enjoyed our trip a lot.

My father was impressed the way Rose managed our tour, he called her at the end of the trip and thanked her.
